    But at this stage, the main reason is simply to try it and see how leveling/gearing/skill progression works. Some people might end up liking it and others might not and SE could adjust their plan for the job in the future.

    I'll just enjoy it for what it is and be happy with my ability to spit sardines at monsters and self-destruct for no particular reason (I'd like to hope that's what we learn from bombs because it's been a staple in practically every game with BLU).

    Pagos and Pyros crystals have all been increased by 1 lol enjoy...jk the changes to Eureka are great except Pagos light still needs some nerfing but whatever.

    The new table-lamp is really pretty, and I like the shelf with the hanging plant-pots. And the vegetable patch.

    The loft is nice, but I don't think I could fit it into my house without totally redesigning things.

    (I like the sewing items too, but putting them in my virtual house will just remind me how badly I'm neglecting my real sewing projects...)

    Also while it's not listed under "new furniture", the lily-of-the-valley flowerpots are sitting on a "flower cart" item I don't think I've seen before.



    "Time of My Life" GATE is a little disappointing to lose altogether. It was a good way to see what emotes looked like for different races.



    The new coat seems oddly similar to the one we got last time... but the boots look really nice! At least I think they will. Could be a bit bulky-looking but I'll have to try them out.



    Other than MSQ, custom deliveries for Adkiragh are the main thing I'm looking forward to this time! He's been there all odd and mysterious for ages, and we'll finally get his story.

    At this point, despite those saying otherwise on each side of the fence, BLUE has to be a 'trial' of limited jobs, and will have to be expanded to allow them to be used in more content.

    While they had alluded to just this by saying that the Masked Carnivale is just for us to 'get used' to Blue Mage first, and it will be significantly expanded with greater rewards, I feel this alone won't be enough, even with raising the level cap.
    They need to allow BLU in MSQ, Squadrons and Deep Dungeons at the very least. Possibly PVP too.

    I tend to agree.
    On slightly a different topic: Despite it's apparent openness in skills, I still see a meta build coming along same as any other class.

    There will always be an optimal build, but without inclusion in high end raids I doubt it'll be to the extent of a 'meta', especially given that running any meaningful content with one or multiple Blue Mages will require one have Mighty Guard, or one with Wind Wind, etc. so there will at least be a few different 'optimal builds'.

    That is not what they are saying, SE already made the community aware it would be heavily restricted so the shock some people have can be seen as confusing. To be expect a change to be made this quick is simply unrealistic.

    I am also in the same boat, I never even thought of it as a job just side content and I do think that was the largest mistake SE made they called it Blue Mage and refereed to it as a job.

    PvP I rather not have them there, unless they take some abilities (like Bad Breath for example) away from them for PvP... Squadrons and Deep Dungeon, totally.


    And I still say Blue Mage as it is for now, it's a minigame dressed up as a "job". There aren't that many jobs out there they could do in the style of Blue Mage for the whole limited job idea... Maybe stuff like Beastmaster. Turn that class into (totally not) pokemon.
