Does anyone know if that's a 350 Handking's Saw (I've never used scrip tools so no idea if they glow) or are they adding new tools for the "I Made That: VI" achievements?

Hence the term 'limited'. The Blue Mage gets a special environment to play with, while facing a restriction of being able to attend regular duties of any kind.That is not what they are saying, SE already made the community aware it would be heavily restricted so the shock some people have can be seen as confusing. To be expect a change to be made this quick is simply unrealistic.
I am also in the same boat, I never even thought of it as a job just side content and I do think that was the largest mistake SE made they called it Blue Mage and refereed to it as a job.
Honestly, though: You can't balance the Blue Mage in a mmo environment like this one if it wants to stay true to its nature and identity. 'Maining' the blue mage sounds weird to me because of that.
I mean, sure, I'll level it simply to keep everything on max. But playing it will simmer down to "I got some time to spare, so lets level this job up/do a few challenges".
Am I reading this right? Poetics can be traded for Grade VI materia in Shire now?
Most of the jobs in PvP are nothing like their PvE versions.PvP I rather not have them there, unless they take some abilities (like Bad Breath for example) away from them for PvP... Squadrons and Deep Dungeon, totally.
And I still say Blue Mage as it is for now, it's a minigame dressed up as a "job". There aren't that many jobs out there they could do in the style of Blue Mage for the whole limited job idea... Maybe stuff like Beastmaster. Turn that class into (totally not) pokemon.
Simply give BLU it's own structured skillset for PvP, even if you only unlock it after you've mastered every skill up to level 50 or something.
Personally I think referring it to a job in any capacity be it limited or otherwise was a major mistake. They really should have just been clear with the language and not beaten around the bush and simply refereed to it as a mini game / side content. I am sure people still would have been upset, but at the end of the day without the "word" job it would be harder for people to paint a picture of being a fully playable job in all forms of content.Hence the term 'limited'. The Blue Mage gets a special environment to play with, while facing a restriction of being able to attend regular duties of any kind.

Think SE was being far to obtuse with player base regarding adding of blue mage. Just my two cents though.

BLU:
* Duty Roulettes RESTRICTED
* The Forbidden Land, Eureka RESTRICTED
* The Diadem RESTRICTED
* Squadron Missions RESTRICTED
* Deep Dungeons RESTRICTED
* PvP, including duels RESTRICTED
* Stone, Sky, Sea RESTRICTED
* Hall of the Novice RESTRICTED
Why even bother implenting it? The job is rather non-existent like this, he is rather an outdated relic and being used as glamour. What a joke.
Lets not forget, even if you go unsync with your premade/friends - you will stay level 50 as blue mage, so you are basically locked out of even HW content.
ROFL
It is possible, however, to enter the Wolves' Den as a blue mage.
