Technically, player trading isn't a sink, as the gil doesn't leave tge game but justvgets transferred.The latter. It'd sell for a decent amount on a consistent basis and the game is always in need of more gil sinks. The price would be atrocious initially, then settle after more and more of the items show up on the market board. Add in the server visit system being implemented later on and that's even more opportunities for people to purchase it.
The taxes on transactions are a sink though.
