I'd rather wasn't implemented at all because at least then there is a continuing hope to get it as a normal job.

The concept of Limited Jobs is the problem. The game play of individual Limited Jobs is not the problem. I'm sick of being told to try BLU first because the game play is irrelevant. RIGHT NOW we know Limited Jobs are coming. The cat is out of the bag already. What does it accomplish to wait months before saying "I don't like Limited Jobs, don't want BLU to be one and don't want more of them"?

And yeah I know this is supposed to be a positive thread but when people express their positivity by taking shots at other people's feedback, I think it's fair to respond.
This exclude the very high probability of jobs not even coming to FFXIV at all in the first place if SE can't or don't want to force them into the mold. Which is pretty much the stance they had on BLU for more than four years, and is now what they implied when suggesting Beast and Puppet masters.
On the other hand, there is absolutly nothing to back up the idea that these jobs would've eventually made it into FFXIV as regular jobs. This is an assumption people seems make, which holds no grounds and even goes against official statements from SE. So it's pretty safe to assume that these jobs would have never seen the light of Hydaelyn (which is backed up by Square Enix's position), instead of assuming the opposite without any kind of proof or even hint.

So, now, some people say that they'd prefer these job not coming at all instead of coming as limited job - if it was the only two possible choices (which, again, is the most plausible case given SE's position). But that's stripping something that other people might like simply because you don't like it (general "you"). In short, this is why we can't have nice things. I'm not saying that you are saying that. I'm simply hoping this is not your stance on the matter, as I cannot support this kind of selfish statements (ie "I don't like it so nobody should have it").

Also, regarding this in particular...:
That is the job I wanted most but not like that.
That argument can be made in both sides, and was pretty much the very criticism of a lot of people when they introduced Summoners, to take the most memorable example.
If BLU was implemented as a regular job, I could very well say "that is the job I wanted most but not like that", and it'd be as valid as yours.
