okay but jobs aren't complicated, most of what you do is similar from class to class and job to job in terms of rotations anyways. Making more jobs won't really complicate anything, just add a few new choices.Been playing various MMOs for almost 2 decades now and XIV is simplified and homogenized as hell in comparison to a lot, especially from the earlier days. The devs themselves have said over and over how they tried to make this a game newcomers would be able to pick up easily and it's plain to see how they bend over backwards to avoid any form of complexity. But perhaps it can be considered complicated for complete newbies to the genre.
