Quite simply; you don't buy music you don't like.
More to the point: You don't purchase a game you don't enjoy or think is flawed.

In either case: The consumer has no say in what is best for a musician or a game developer and the process in which they arrive at their final products.

People tend to think that just because there is an official forum for FFXIV it means they can say whatever they want, no matter how abusive it is to other members of the community and developers. Giving feedback is one thing, and it is what the forums are here for, but in the end the developers have the creative rights to this MMO, not us... Which usually ends up in situations where certain members of this community forget who they are and think they can say just about anything they want to just to try and prove that their idea/way of thinking is the best and only way to think. They usually arrive at irrational notions such as the developers being ill equipped to create a game people will enjoy, or that other community members are inept because they don't share the same sentiment....It's silly really.
1. The only reason these forums do exist is so that customers can provide feedback. They don't exist so game developers can offer pro bono advice to save FFXIV's bacon. They could be waiting a long time if that was the reason.

2. If a customer doesn't like something, as a gaming consumer, their opinion is perfectly valid and influential. If enough people don't like something or do like something, you can bet those concerns will be taken seriously. At the end of the day, it's consumers who decide whether this game lives or dies.
