And maybe I should be more clear on what I mean trophies. I mean litteral trophies. Trophies you can put into your house or titles that specificly tell "Guy who reached rank 1 in season 8". Not mounts and glamours that could also be associated with something else if they weren't already implemented this way into the game.
Same here, If a game has compet I usually hop in. What game are you referring to? sounds like OW in this example. You're not wrong but also games give bigger rewards like glam and mounts too there's no set rule for rewards for competing.
If there was only a reward for 1st place feast would be dead on arrival, I can see it now highest rank being like a high silver, It wouldn't work and removing such rewards wouldnt make sense neither, why limit rewards for work u put into competing against other players for a top 100 spot? Who realistically wants a trophy, mounts and glams hold way more value then that, that is why people like to play and get high ranks in the first place.

The only thing I agree with you here is that the chair mount was controversial since it was based of that one npc aulus(?) magitek chair but if you look at it they're not even the same, still I feel that the rewards could be more pvp like in a way thats not so related to pve and such but thats the only case where this applies. Hell hound mounts go with the hell hound armor which makes sense since this is the theme of feast anyway. old s1-2 coats give that champion feel and the current glamour right now is also like an intimidating style of armor which works in this feast setting - reminds me of like the guardian of lichenweed, if you remember that map.
