I have the Primogs minion from Before the Fall:OST before the codes became expired and the Yuna minion from the previous fanfest. I literally do not care if other people get them through different means. It's a virtual toy, it's not like someone stole your Olympic gold medal and is pretending to be an international athlete or if someone stole your identity.

It's also an MMO. Your entire gaming life revolves around things becoming invalidated after a certain amount of time. When you eventually unsub and cancel your subscription or they shut down XIV somewhere in the future, all of that work goes down the drain you know. You can't hold onto it forever.

Same thing with real life buddy. When we die we lose everything. Guess we should make everything free in this world cause it just makes sense haha.

And I guess the proper way to rebuttal when you've run out of rope in real life dear is to make extreme hyperbolic statements while that ship of your's underneath is sinking due to the iceberg of "reality checks".

You're gonna have a hard time in life if you feel invalidated because someone has a pair of virtual earrings just like your own. Real hard time. If I had a nickel for all of the times someone had something that I wanted, I'd be rich by now. But, unfortunately, life don't work that way either and sometimes, video games are no different.

You made a statement saying nothing matters cause we eventually quit the game or w.e. Pretty sad when people are confronted with a similar argument they collapse and try to invalidate it personal attacks.

I got myself through college with a Bachelor's degree, survived a car accident, work two jobs because fiance has nerve/brain damage from said car accident that wasn't our fault and can't work, survived my own suicide attempt, take care of three other people in my household, and still somehow retain a healthy relationship with friends & family despite the fact that any other normal human being might have actually cracked by now due to such extreme pressures. How's that for a zinger on personal achievements and hardships...? And not you or anyone else can tell me otherwise.

I mean, I'm sorry if other people having things that you do upsets you, but, you could just uninstall the game then if you're unhappy with the director's decision, I guess...? I may not even do the event honestly, probably won't have time and they're just earrings anyways that do absolutely nothing, so who cares. ^^

You didn't really state a fact. You chose to take something I said as a personal attack or slight, maybe because it's true about yourself, who knows, because I called out your extreme hyperbole over something trivial...and then I guess you figured that taking everything much farther than it needed to go was the right course of action. You don't cry wolf over a person that you think is slighting you and argue that it's wrong...and then go and do it yourself much worse. That makes you out to be a hypocrite, sadly.

Meanwhile people like me have legitimate arguments such as "Why should people who did not do the content get access to the same reward?"

That's pretty much illustrates both sides, you can say you don't care all you want, but if you didn't, you would understand why these earrings and similar items shouldn't be handed out for free. :>
