Then they NEED to remove enrages from ALL casual content because the 2 concepts conflict with each other. 8 man normal and 24 man "catch up gear" shouldn't have enrages at all if this is the ideal that goes behind making this game. This means enrages should ONLY exist in CURRENT savage/ EX trail. Once a new series releases and outdates the one before, then those enrages should get removed. You can't "have your cake and eat it too" these 2 concepts conflict with one to another, so I need to ask, wth is the Dev team's true direction with this game? because atm, it is not working.
I am not fine wiping or taking 10 million years to complete a duty because of the skill requirement jump people are not ready for. the royal city of rabanastre is a good example of this, a lot of times people died to DPS checks in that duty on 2 different bosses because they are not trained to play at a somewhat acceptable level? As I said:
Basically I am not complaining about having enrages. I really do not care if it is soft or hard. What I care about and dislike is having enrages + babying the playerbase telling them sub 2k DPS is acceptable at level 70, then turn around have wipes in 8 man or 24 man from unable to clear it because people have 2k DPS? >.> see the problem here?
and some groups wipe on clock tower because people don't know how to change targets quickly or even aware they need to kill adds, and do somewhat acceptable rotations to meet those DPS checks. the royal city of rabanastre got so redicous at times, someone from a strong party, had to go enter the seal area and help the weaker party out. Kinda funny seeing a team of 3 DPS still beat killing the orb that 5 DPS where one is a good carry DPS, that still had a hard time making the difference up. (Granted healer and tank DPS would matter for that, the healers and tank in that party was most likely doing subpar as well)
"but because they don't want to play the game like raiders play the game."
guess what? to an extent, the game REQUIRES it with its DPS checks and people can't meet them when you have the producer suggesting it is ok to do 2k or less DPS because someone else can carry you. (the theory behind where "you do not pay for my sub" meme, came from)There is a point where low skill cannot be carried, one person can't make up the slack of 8 people under performing (a reference to the above example where a party of 7 still did more DPS then the party of 9, due to the other 8 being that subpar)
