im actually shocked how many people would take the novelty of a pet class before an essential class like a mage. maybe after 1.20 sinks in abit people will realize how outta balance the game is.

because 1.20 is removing all the enfeebling magic/debuffs/dots, that why, most mmos have that stuff outta box.

there is no saying pet class can't be DoM. and the pets couldn't specialize in debuff/enfeebling

We now have a buffing class called brd. So we will get better buffs to counter act the debuffs. Also we have combos that inflict some of these debuffs. so its not lost just different.

i mage with daggers and a pet who steals and does magic, anything is possible but lets stick to the stereo typical roles for arguments sake

We are not gonna get another Melee thats completely NOT balancing the game. You had a point with another mage over thf but now your lost if you think a thf over Mage or pet class.
