Scout, Caster, Pet. Which class would you want next?

smn or bst...i dont really care as long as they are done well. I loved both jobs in xi and even tho each one had its faults they were both fantastic jobs. a pup wouldnt be bad either as long as it isnt rushed and broken like the orig xi pup, but pup would be on the bottom of the pet list for me. my only real hope is that they dont go crazy with perpet costs again. some of those -mp tics and high mp cost blood pacts in xi really limited smn before we got refresh at lvl 80 imo

there really isnt a need for thf atm with so little need for treasure hunter (I stand by Ifrit being basically a bcnm and th never effected those drop rates anyway). It's not like we are hunting alot of 3% drops anyway at this point. I could stand behind a mage but with con/thm 50 already for me another mage is just that.

My vote goes Caster, Scout, Pet. Would LOOOOOOOVE a pet class but I know importance when I see it.

I'd love to see all of them implemented within the year, or at least soon after 2.0.

If I had to pick an order..Well, even though I don't play a mage class -ever-, I think the people who like to play caster types deserve another class to try out.

Here's my ranking of what I would like to see first, second and third:

1. Pet class (Pet user and Debuff)
2. Caster class (Ranged DD and Debuff)
3. Scout-type class (Thief, etc.)

I personally am interested in trying out a theif class, and on a complete side note I'm really hoping it would be housed in Ul'dah. My character is all about Ul'dah haha

Yes, I quite agree. After reading that one interview (not gonna link it) that said they were thiking about having a theif class and having its job be Ninja.......... well nothing else really seems to matter. Thief/Ninja yes please!!!!

This is the order for me:
Passionate Side = Thief/Ninja
Logical Side = Debuffing Mage (but who needs logic really? ~.^)
NerdRage side = ZOMG pet jobs will be the ruin of us all!!!

* Seriously though, I'm telling my firends and their freinds and eveyone in any LS I am in to not vote for pet jobs. Sorry would be Summoners and Beastmasters, but for the good of Eorzea, you should not be allowed to exist!! Sorry, but you cant convince me pet classes are or ever will be a good idea. We will already be able to fight alongside our Chocobos, thats good enough.

im actually shocked how many people would take the novelty of a pet class before an essential class like a mage. maybe after 1.20 sinks in abit people will realize how outta balance the game is.
