Lupin - make it a playable race!

See, you're not visualising it. Imagine a Lupin who chooses not to trim their fur when it gets too long (assuming they don't shed).

And thus FFXIV became a dog groomer. I can't even... wrap my head around this, haha. (Edit: wolves' fur does not infinitely grow like some breeds of dogs, sheep, et cetera. It would be a problematic for the wolves if it did. While this is fantasy, it's just... nonsensical, no offence.)

I agree with you about one point: I don't think SE is going to do anything harder than Hyur with animal ears for new races in the future, but if feedback is worth of anything... here we are hoping!

You seem to really like that phrase "Hyurs with animal ears." Let's not forget Roes, Elezens, and Lalas exist, and they're all very "human" facially. If the next race turned out to be small and stumpy but with rabbit ears, would they be "lalas with ears?" Still, I understand your point. While I think it is possible to make faces a little more bestial without breaching FFXIV's lore, I also agree in that I doubt SE would ever "compromise" like that (not too human, not too beastly), which is unfortunate. FFXIV's races are largely less creative than all the other Final Fantasy races and it makes FFXIV as an FF title... really disappointing.
