There's nothing wrong with the lilies..

You are so incredibly wrong that there is absolutely no reason to even begin to take you seriously.

But I'll humour you.

Fights are scripted.
oGCD usage is generally planned out around this scripted encounter.
Reducing the cooldown of your oGCDs by a few seconds does not allow you to use them any more freely than you would otherwise.
The design of lily usage means that you cannot use them strategically because any affected oGCD (usually Benison, which is nearly always used on cooldown) consumes them.

Lilies are a trap for players who don't know how to actually play the class effectively.

Also, Gauge mechanics don't deliver bigger boons for playing around them? Can be effectively ignored? You *really* think this?
