You need to read my post again, since I never said that. I precisely said that, given how it was designed, you can very well do the same dungeon for the 100th time.
But SE fail at this point, and most dungeon are irrelevant after the first time, if it wasn't for the roulette and tome, they would be pretty empty.
Plus, aren't you the one that brung Wow Vanilla on this topic ? I just compared two expac, Heavensward and BC. (And BC Was like... 11 years ago, I believe?)
And yes, BC didn't bring much. Heroic dungeon, Daylies, New raid format, flying and the token system, two new races and some change to the class restriction. It wasn't game breaking, but a lot of these were news in the MMO world.
Can we say the same about Heavensward and Stormblood ? I don't think so.
And I'm not taking FFXI as an exemple since I never played it. But from what I heard, this game sure got it's fare share of innovation trough the different expansion.
