Hoping SE isn't going to make the same mistake with moogle weapons. I was hoping moogle would be armor or accessories of some sort, not just more weapons.
It's looking like Ifrit is going to be made entirely obsolete by the moogle weapons (assuming they're superior, which they probably will be). Sigh. This is becoming a major issue.. Moogle should not drop weapons. They seriously need to sit back and re-evaluate what they're doing with loot and endgame content here.
Like I've tried to say in the OP and the rest of the thread. They don't have content coming out long enough, or lasting long enough to approach it with a western style. Why they can't stay old school like XI until 2.0 really confuses me. The reason games like WoW can do it is because they have large raids with multiple bosses and there's a level of progression and learning each fight. With this, it's only one boss to learn every 3-4 months. That's not enough. At all. Reuse old content, please SE. Some of us who started with 1.18+ never got to see the old stuff, and would love the extra challenge and options for endgame. It's looking like Ifrit is going to be made entirely obsolete by the moogle weapons (assuming they're superior, which they probably will be). XI is a western MMORPG developed by a Japanese company.
