New 12 dollar emote should have been a Eureka reward!

All companies are not like EA, Konami or SE.
i would prefer SE on a good way, with more respect (lets speak about warframe that did abandon a really lucrativ thing in cash shop because they thought it was finally disrepectfull to their customers?)

SE has to get money, as any company, but they could respect customer. . .

So far I've yet to really have any issues with SE that is in game related, their shipping department from SE store is something they could work on. However I don't think they hide anything from us. Everything is stated in their terms of use, IF people ever read the thing things would make more sense, those who read it can find loop wholes. Cash shop items are no different people just get trigger happy and by pass important information. The name Cash cow is something that most consumer label themselves voluntarily, when they don't agree with a business to slender them, or have found a great project which brings in large revenue. Yes I am a consumer, and I don't mind being a cash cow if the service rendered is being provided. However some of us "cash cows" don't want to take responsibility for our decisions and right away find shelter blaming a company. SE is one of the few companies that I really have had zero issues with, GM's handle my complains right away, and tech support is really good as well. True timing could improve however when you think about it it makes sense that they can take time to get to you. I mean most people don't read the terms of use and the answers are right there.

Your conditions are equal to leaving it only in the Mog shop because of how few people would actually achieve those conditions. If SE does do what you say, it'll be for no reason other than to tell us that we CAN get it in the game, see? While it's not really a viable alternative to 99% of the population so why even bother, just leave it only in the mog shop and be honest about it.

there is MANY way to add this... with millions GPS, hundred millions gils, million anemos cristals etc etc. (i take random example)

And so many people will never reach those conditions and instead pay the money (or not bother at all) and we're back to the same situation.

BTW i really prefer the top100 PvP exclusivity than the cash shop exclusivity...

Cf what i said warframe, they make money with this game, they just cut part of the cash shop just to be correct to players.

Some things in PvP are quite interesting, and i wont try to get it, because i hate arena PvP. Like i liked the gladiator mount during WoW-Wotlk, and didnt do any arena match during the whole expansion.



BUT, look at what i said, and mainly what you answered.
even more that those are RANDOM NUMBERS, i did say high numbers because what the meaning making 10 million gils the 9 euros emote? it would be many emote not bought in cash shop, so it would clearly a simple "just, get it away from cash shop"
I would like cash shop to disappear but i know it will never happen. With high numbers (and Yoshida's team work to find how much) the cash shop would stay the best way to get it. but if you dont have money, they can farm and one day, have what they want.

I dont want those to be in easy access in game. in my mind, to many things are easy access in the game (all except things behind top100 pvp reward and ultimate coil... the ultimate will finish "easy" as we get more level and stuff). Seeing 1 euro cash shop = 10 million gils for the ingame way to get anything seems to me quite fair. (maybe more gils, not less)


I prefer top100 pvp exclusivity over cash shop exclusivity, because of the sub we already pay. But i dont say i want an easy way to get everything...

I wouldn't say it SHOULD be a reward for Eureka, but it should be in game. We have a truckload of achievment points and nothing to do with them.

I think what bothers me the most is that they're focusing so much effort on luxury emotes (a 12 dollar emote compared to a 2 dollar one is luxury) instead of trying to fix Eureka. It feels like a slap in the face and an obvious mis-management of resources. I'm all for mog station items, but please fix the broken stuff first before you try to sell us accessories!

Everything you get "free" in this game has a cost. It literally costs hours of your life to "get". The fact you cannot equate time to money means you aren't aware of just how valuable your time is yet. You will never get any more and you cannot even know how much you have to spend.

Yes. F2P models encourage companies to find sneaky ways to monetize. Nickle and diming their players to pieces. The current pay system means I pay my sub and I know for a fact I will have access to all patch content and story updates as long as I have purchased the expansions. If you pay attention to any f2p game you'll see there's ways to easily spend hundreds a month just on playing the game. Purchasing xp boosts, consumable items like pots and food buffs, and usually very temporary cosmetic add-ons. If you dig deeper they always have gameplay areas you're guaranteed to bump up against limits but IF you buy this item then it's so much more convenient! Fast travel tickets and such.

While we do need more things to do with achievement points, cash shop items will never be purchasable with them since it's a whole different team and system. We did just get a few additions to the list though. The stuff is still flowing, at about the rate it used to come from veteran rewards in fact. Now we just get to choose which ones we want.

once again, these are not the same teams working on these things. We lost nothing ingame by them implementing this emote.
