Meanwhile you're ignoring that putting things in-game might just make them less accessible. Just look at the backlash for the awards for PvP - it's in game! It's free! And it's available to only a handful of the playerbase.

I never said that all cash shop stuff should disappeared from cash shop.
SE is enough hungry for always more money... it would never happen, and, i am sad to think cash shop will never stop

I just say "in cash shop AND in game"
the way i said (included 10 time ultimate coil... not reserved to 1% and when we will be lvl 80 or 90 everyone would be able to get it...) was example. there is MANY way to add this... with millions GPS, hundred millions gils, million anemos cristals etc etc. (i take random example)

The one thing I'll maybe agree with you in the cash shop is the skip potions because that's the closest you're going to get to P2W. But even that only gets you so far and it's not like it'll help you in Ultimate.

Yeah, and even then it's a bit of a stretch. You still have to clear Stormblood and level to 70. It's more of a "pay to catch up faster" kind of thing.

You know... I've left all Free to Play MMO to enter in the Sub based MMO to not bother with cash shop. I know that most of the time that I see something really cool, I ask what is it, and I get a "it's a cash shop item". These moments remembers me of the free to play MMO times.

I've come to this sub based MMO to be equal with everyone that pays the sub, and not to be induced to "buy cash shop item to be cool as the cash shop users".

I feel that cash shop needs to have only past event unique itens, and not exclusive cash shop new ones, it's the most fair thing for me. They can add good events, so that they can add the same good item to the cash shop after the event end.

I feel worried about the current situation of the cash shop, where they're adding more and more itens that we can't get in-game by playing.
It just echoes into my mind "the future will be worse"...

I think this is the point of digression for most players. Most people know that the sub we pay is just ACCESS to SE's game FFxiv. You'll know this very quickly when you screw up and get your account banned like myself and many others have had to face. You're not paying for the game and its content, just the literal access to it.

Everything else we get, like content updates, hotfixes, patches, a primarily bug-free game, are all bonus to the access fee we have to pay.

Yes, the same with wow before the cash shop
the same with FFXI
the same with so much sub MMORPG before them.

I know i pay to access a service. I know i dont even own my character. and if i buy sleipnir, i dont own it, i am just able to use it. The whole FFXIV cash shop dont allow anyone to won anything.

But if those i said was able to have only a subscription... why WoW or FFXIV do need cash shop?

because none of these are tied to any actual progression, save for the job potions, which are no REAL advantage to anyone.

to make FFxiv like EA, they would have to charge us for materials used to upgrade the BiS weapons that only have, say, <5% chance of working successfully. Or put lootboxes on the cash shop that randomly drop super expensive materials that would be used in crafting/upgrading the BiS weapons in the game.

That's how a lot of korean MMOs work so we've got ways to go before we're even close to EA.

When i see BDO cash shop and FFXIV cash shop. it is clearly the second one that makes me vomit. Because, one is there (at least at part) to pay the game, pay the devs, the servers, the other is only to make more and more cash... Cash to pay the FFVII HD, not even to help FFXIV...

It is call a business for a reason and spending cash is up to the consumer. Why do people lack the most basic of concepts to any service and can't gasp that they are there to make money,it is not a charity service. Blaming the company is just childish to begin with. Also if you think about it, what does the 12 Dollar emote have to do with Eureka in the first place?

All companies are not like EA, Konami or SE.
i would prefer SE on a good way, with more respect (lets speak about warframe that did abandon a really lucrativ thing in cash shop because they thought it was finally disrepectfull to their customers?)

SE has to get money, as any company, but they could respect customer. . .
