I work full-time, my partner is studying at uni and also works full time, together we have joined up with two good friends in our FC that are on the same timezone and they also both work full-time, since release, we have reached level 20 and completed two full sets of relic gear and 3 full weaps and that is only playing Eureka of an evening after work - it's definitely not that hard, and that's only with a party of 4 people so not even the most efficient way of playing, once you get past the first few levels it does get faster and faster to obtain crystals, I'd suggest just spamming LFG once you get inside if you can't find a group on PF.
If I can get three characters 10+ in a week and a half, you can find time to get one character leveled in there over time. Now that I'm at this point, it has cut my weekly mendacity grind down to two days, when I was getting burned out from capping from roulettes before.
I've heard this argument from a few people, even my BF, and I watch them play and do other things like roulettes, and if they put the amount of time into eureka that they did with roulettes they'd cap in less time AND be working on their relics.
It is not that big of a time sink if I've managed to get a full set of gear and four weapons in the first five days of release. That would have taken me MUCH longer with most other steps of the past relics.
I think an mmo by its nature needs to have some massive timesink activities which are not approachable by everyone, because there are people on the other end of the spectrum who have too much time and need something to keep them going from patch to patch. But, expect some massive nerfs when it's older to make exp farming way faster, more soloable, etc to help people who have less time.
How strange because every day I still see people in less than lvl10 or 5 doing groups or following the fate train and no one excludes them, on the contrary, they carry them in double mounts lol
Yeah this is the nature of mmo content. You might be able to come back and finish it solo a few patches down the road after multiple nerfs though so all hope is not gone yet
I have a full time job and school as well the key is to not rush the process, each night when it first came out I set a goal to at least level 3 times but always ended up on two levels lol
Eureka is lively all day and even into the night you don't have to dedicate your life to it becuase it's not a race just do a little at a time it's doable...
Plus low level groups can spawn the lower level fates still.
It takes time but if you go in with a plan before hand and set up a party finder clearly stating "Doing fates. NO fate train." With a level range people will join.
I would suggest having a plan before going in. Knowing what you want to fight or the fate you want to spawn before hand helps a lot. When a group has no plan they tend to fall a part.
