You'd probably get similar results for any content in the game.
If you asked about crafting, potd or raids or dungeons I expect you'd get similar replies.

The middle response tells very little and cannot be counted as negative or positive - I answered there and I don't hate it, it's fun with a good group but not my favorite content. The zone is very nice and I wouldn't mind seeing more areas in future patches but the mob grind could be a lot more engaging. I like some things and dislike others.

Eureka has some big flaws but its not terrible and I prefer this to another snooze mode expert dungeon that is only really fun the first time you run it because it is tuned way too easy for current gear level.

The other 30% clearly do not know how much we lost content wise in the game as a hole for SB, for all the resources that went into it with all the delays, a buggy fate train is not an acceptable result.

It's a matter of interpretation. You clearly did shift the numbers to the otherside and called the kettle black in the same sentence. I don't know how to math as much as it seems you don't know how to read. But "meh, its okay".

"meh it is ok" means there is parts you dislike about something. With all the delays this place had, that kind of split is far from ideal. If it was some side content made in 24-48 hours it would be a different story. It looks rushed, because there is nothing there, no features, (like social features to search people, level sync, etc) and people/ monsters vanishing problems. This is what you expect being in beta, not finished.

Assumptions from start to finish, bearing all of your "standards" aside. You can be accusative and talk about how they need to step their game up, but make it factual and not brimming with confirmation bias on every word you write.

If it was hated as much as the forums might lead someone to believe, we wouldn't be having Eureka instances being near constantly packed. Well at least in EU. Obviously I can't speak for the other data centres given I don't play there.

People participate in things they hate all the time: family reunions, culturally mandated gift exchanges, unfulfilling jobs, etc. Usually because its the lesser of two evils. In Eureka's case I dislike the content, but I feel forced into it because of the rewards. In well crafted MMO content I should be excited for the rewards and also enjoy the journey to get them.

Why are you comparing mandatory life events to an optional game feature?

Eureka is more like attending an optional club you may not enjoy so you can access something better later. Working a job you hate to keep a roof over your head is much more akin to paying your XIV subscription only because you want to keep your in-game house.

70% of the people on the forums that tend to go with monkey see monkey do? People on the net are known for being caught up in the vote one way or another for stupid things all the time. Go look at youtube and see how many idiotic comments or upvotes some idiotic channel has.

Stop trying so hard it's ok, life will go on the game will continue, feedback has been registered with them, whether they take it to heart or not is the question. We can't control them other than not providing them with money and I mean that includes everything from the cash shop to the subs to retainers, if you guys were truly this unhappy about it you would speak with your wallets and not your words.

I voted "meh, it's okay" because I don't love it but I also don't hate it. Would I run this again after there's no more reward to be gained from it? Probably not, but that's how most of the content in this game is. If I can't get anything from it, I'd only run it to help a friend out. I think I'm probably in the majority, honestly... So yeah, they will need to expand this content and provide incentives to keep it active for future players, but the same is true of any content in the game, hence why we have roulettes and Wonderous Tails and other 'please do old content so new players aren't stranded' incentives. I guess we'll have to see what they decide to do.

As someone who voted "Meh, it's okay." No, I would not classify that as my liking Eureka. I merely accept it for what it is. Being indifferent towards anything can, often times, be worse. To elaborate further, I like aspects of Eureka and think it has a decent foundation but it ultimately disappoints. If the relic step hadn't been put in there, I'd have never looked at the content more than once.

And this segues into my complaint towards the poll itself. The options are far too broad. We need some options to lean one way without getting lumped into the extremes.
