Did they ever officially reply to glaring negative feedback of Diadem 2 while it was still relevant (past downplaying the impact of the weapons drops)? I wouldn't expect anything until they are ready to rollout changes.

Another converted player. HATED IT TO THE CORE day 1. Having fun with it now and as long as they update it, I think it'll last.
And yes Eureka is "fun with friends" and friends can make everything better, but it's not just because of that.
It's also because it IS nice to have content where I don't just do that to get the boredom away (like MSQ roulette), I feel like I have to in order to play it well.
For people who aren't afk-ers, who actually push their groups to the limit (like oh...taking on 5-10 bears at a time while still being under their level), this can honestly feel even more intensive than savage and coordination between party members can become genuinely important, with tanks that actually feel like they have to be in tank stance, and healers that actually feel like they have to heal all the time or their group will wipe, and there isn't much other content in this game that can provide that except for doing massive highlevel mob pulls in Eureka.
I can't speak for everyone of course.
But I can say that not all people who are using voice chat with friends are doing so to get the boredom to go away, some of us are doing it because it feels well suited to playing the instance in an intensive manner - no different than how many people use VC in Savage.
I also think a lot of people understimate how much background work (things not very noticeable) must have been developed.
Nowhere else in the game can people switch parties in an instance. Nowhere else are there mobs based on weather or time. Nowhere else are fates spawned based on mobs being killed. These might seem trivial, but they all take development time, and those are the things that have been found (might be more).
I also think the response is just fine. They can't after 3 days mention more specific things as they need to review all the feedback, see what fits the direction they're going with, do man-hour estimates, etc... The most a community team member (or even a dev) would be able to say about anything that would be more significant than just changing loot tables is "We are reviewing other feedback for further updates in the future" - and that's hardly necessary. Surely it's obvious that if they read enough feedback to know people don't like the loot box sparklers/untradable rewards, then they've also seen all the other feedback and are thinking of ways to make the community happy.

I wasn't expecting much of a reply this soon, but to not even get a "We acknowledge people are upset with the content, we're working on forwarding this information to the devs" is disheartening to say the least. So now I'm left wondering if our voices on our displeasure of this content is being heard of they seriously think excess fireworks was the issue.
Many of us did, and it's bad every time we do it. But any amount of "giving it a chance" isn't needed. It's exactly what it is, grinding trash mobs to pop the hunt style mob to zerg down for the good rewards. It's everything wrong with Diadem except with an additional pointless level grind tacked on top.
You have to take into account the ratio of people that enjoy Eureka and people that don't enjoy Eureka, as well as how that ratio holds up to all the other content in the game when it was new/fresh. Do you honestly expect SE to just remove Eureka because some people don't enjoy it and put something else in its place? Even if they did that it would not happen right away, in fact probably not even for months.
That said, it is nice what reply we actually got. It's honestly something at least I didn't expect.
Guildmaster of Power With Numbers (PWN) on Coeurl in Aether.
With their track record with anything in this game, no it is not obvious. We are not listened to.
Diadem 1.0
Diadem 2.0
Diadem 3.0
The same methods, the same mistakes.

I guess you missed the post that spoke on the lack of interaction with the PvP issues and the PvP forum for one of the comments to putting everything in one thread. Because that is proof that method to these forum also does not work in being heard.
I am not asking for Rome in a day, I am not asking to give us more changes, I am asking for MORE COMMUNICATION and INTERACTION, like them actually talking to us, not a copy/paste post that is posted somewhere in each language. I am also confused why that post was not posted in that one positive feedback thread where they spoke about lockboxes more (I even commented on lock box issues) So when you see a post out of context like that, it really makes me question how much they listen and and communicate with us.
It is not a nice reply though, why do you accept that? just because it is rare to get a reply? it shouldn't be like that. You also need to remember we lost a lot of content for 4.0 + to get this released, so the fact we got so little.. for that..?

Acting on first impressions is never a good thing however, If I were to give my first impression of xenoblade chronicles 2 I would say it's a boring and terrible game with uninteresting characters especially since I have a bias against the style they went with it, however I went on and the game was much better.
Frankly they responded quickly to a pretty glaring problem, because since ppl can change opinion on how to tackle the content and all, the lockboxes sucked really bad and imho I expected it because potd lockboxes sucked too, there was nearly nothing really interesting in there and the only thing that they had could be obtained somewhere else
why wait the evening with FC mate if the content is so fun so? ...
This is the amtter, most of "eureka is a good thing" i heared/read was bind to "because i play with my friends and speaks with them on vocal"
if the cotnent is fun, you dont need them to enjoy it...
What people ask are a content that is fun, itself, without friends, (and so even more fun with friends) any content is fun with friends, even spamming sastasha normal mode. But not all content are fun without friend... those are best content
And there isnt a need for them to fix eureka now, what we would like is more communication. more than "we did adjust lootbox, because, we did read you" ...
