What Suetan124 wrote isn't something I'd expect out of a paying customer in anything but the video game industry.

I play FFXV online. It's actually pretty fun. Just because a single player RPG had multiplayer added to it doesn't mean that it's crap. The FFXV multiplayer actually has an okay story on it's own. In all actuality, FFXV with all it's addons has honestly been quite exceptional. I've never had the game make a single glitch, the addons have all been astounding, all of the characters are memorable and unique. All in all, you're probably complaining about playing a console game as a PC port, which it was never designed for.Maybe WASTE less OUR money on next useless Final fantasy games and spend those resources into successful product we are playing right now, because none plays FF XV online, and i bet the giant part of budget gone into making that silly game.
Fixing a network code for our game would be a good step or changing game engine entirely.

Go ahead and take as being condescending. Maybe learning to appreciate someone's hard work will do some good.

And they apparently took 17 months to come up with this. I wouldn't even give them an A for effort, because it really is just the Diadem slapped together with FF XI mob grinding. How do you sit there working on this for 17 months and not realize it's not good?

Says the person who probably cried when Trump won the election, anyway a change in gameplay methods isn't a bad thing. People wanted more out of relic, they got that. People wanted more FFXI-ish gameplay. They have that. It may not be perfect, but remember that this game is constantly being updated and refined. What may not be perfect now is highly likely to be patched in the near future.

Let's not bring politics into General Discussion, yeah?Says the person who probably cried when Trump won the election, anyway a change in gameplay methods isn't a bad thing. In response to your other points: very little content that failed out of the gate has been improved by the dev team later. The MSQ cutscene problems were never properly fixed; Diadem (both versions) were left to rot on the vine; Housing still isn't properly fixed; etc., etc. So I don't think you can say things are 'highly likely' to be patched / improved in the near future. That hasn't been SE's track record.
Also, it is perfectly possible to appreciate a product for the value it brings to the table, while still criticizing it for its failings and limitations. FFXIV offers me tremendous value as an experience I can share with my girlfriend. That said, there are countless aspects of the game that are disturbingly similar to half-assed user-made mods for games like Skyrim. As a result, FFXIV deserves both praise and criticism. The praise comes in the form of my continued monthly payments. The criticism, since I cannot exactly withhold money while continuing to play, takes the form of complaints on the forums. I'd say this is a pretty good deal for SE, and perfectly balanced; one shouldn't be expected to balance their commentary on the public forum when they aren't balancing their position from a payment perspective.
Wait what? Did I just read that right? Eureka took ONE AND A HALF YEARS to make!?!? holy hell the content creators should be FIRED thats just embarrassing! all that time spent on basically garbage!

I mean, in another one of these very threads you have some people praising PotD as an example of new, interesting, and rewarding content design. Aquapolis/Canals are also generally well-liked, if a bit non-interactive, and Ultimate Coil, while seen as super niche, was still defended by the majority of the community here as interesting viewing and true challenge content, if nothing else (lots of people raked in the views by streaming their prog). But sure, let's pretend like the playerbase is the problem for not finding Eureka more engaging than grass growing, or thinking that the relic quests have been some of the most uninspired garbage this game has ever seen since post +1s.Honestly, I don't think that the MMO players are even capable of being satisfied. The look at the bad of every little thing that's given to them. They never look at what they have and say, you know what? This is actually pretty cool. Thanks, dev team for putting forth an honest effort to keep things going with this game.
No they feel that they have to complain about every little thing. They're never satisfied. Maybe once they grow up and have their own families and have responsibilities they'll take a look at things differently and say "hey, this actually pretty nice"
No u

Yep and its release was even delayed a couple of times because they said it wasn't ready and needed more testing.
