    It's something people want , yes, but it doesn't solve other concerns.
    It allows you to build say 1 tank set and use it across multiple tank jobs or 1 DPS or 1 caster set or even one crafter or gathering set. Keeping the current job requirements makes it impossible to share a look across multiple jobs of similar function... and to be honest I would rather see a Paladin in Dragoon armor than a Paladin in a black bikini with a Chocobo mascot head.

    I'm not sure SE can give us 1 sheet for every job which leave many of us only using items with no requirements to fill multiple jobs.
