It is not fair that people that saved money can't get a house because of your team decides that yall want free companies to have first pick. People want there own houses. Free company shouldn't be aloud to get first choice but the players need to be able to get themselves a house before free companies do.

So why can't yall just give the players what they want by letting them get there own houses and let free companies go first?

Because 1 FC house can benefit more than just the one person who likely won't even share their own house with tennants? Also FC rooms are cheaper than apartments so there's also a boon in that

It's totally not because FC Factories are a thing *cough* Airships/Submarines*cough*, and they originally screwed up housing when it first came out with what they originally said.

Let the FCs have their housing first. Hell, you're in an FC that doesn't have a house. You'd think people like that would be a bit more happy they have a better chance to get a place. You could even make your own jump puzzles with housing items.

Life isnt fair. And the housing system certainly isnt "fair" or "good" either.
But letting FCs have first pick is the right choice - there is special FC-content gated behind housing. There are FC-rooms and apartments for individuals.

SE apparently cant give us what we want - unlimited housing - because of the way their system is set up. And they've made it very clear that thats not gonna change - even though they're apparently looking into medium and large apartments, so basically instances houses and mansions. Right now its not possible for everyone to have a house - and no matter how much we cry and complain about it, it wont magically change tomorrow. They're working on it. Being asked to be patient sucks, I know that. But this horse is dead. We dont need a new thread beating it everyday...

I wish they'd just make the wards FC only, give everyone with a personal house in the wards a free instanced house and open up unlimited instanced housing for the rest of the pop. But then the servers would probably explode.

I suppose I can't deny I'm biased because I have a personal house already, but I think it's fair to allow Free Companies to have access to housing before individual users.

While I enjoy having my house, and I'm sure many others do, the primary functions of a house are definitely geared towards Free Companies. There are so many FCs that aren't able to acquire a house because there are too many personal estates out there. That said, I do wish the regulations were a bit stricter. I feel like the size of the plot an FC is purchasing should be a direct correlation the amount of active members in their respective FCs. I don't like the idea of an FC with less than a couple dozen active members owning a mansion, for example.

Why not? A smaller FC somehow has less right to an abundance of gardening? A smaller FC is perfectly capable of utilizing an FC house in the same way as any other FC. Their members can work just as hard at workshop tasks and decorating. They can have just as meaningful gatherings or FC business meetings as any larger FC. You're basically saying the idea of being a "legitimate" FC is based only on numbers.

And even on systems like this, other MMOs manage to implement things like automatically adding wards when existing ones get 80% full or so.

Ah, I did forget about the gardening plot size restrictions, you're right about that.

Still, I'm just thinking of it in a logical manner. An FC that has a lot of members would need a bigger house than one with fewer. I don't feel it right for an FC with few people to own a mansion and potentially cost an FC with many members from having access to housing that would be suited for their needs in terms of players. Of course that's presumptive since there are a lot of players out there who don't really have anything to do with their respective FC's housing. As for the "legitimate" comment, I have no idea how what I said makes you think that. How many members your FC has or doesn't have has nothing to do with the legitimacy of an FC, and I said nothing to the contrary.
