Dusty, what do you think is going to happen to the huge number of existing secondary fc houses that are owned by "placeholders," i.e., very low level alts as leaders, and only have 1 or 2 members and are used for extra furniture storage, bragging rights in some cases, etc? Are they going to get whomped by square in the very near future or will they be grandfathered?

That's up to SE. If the unofficial translation was correct, for the time being they're staying as is. Should that be the case then SE will probably leave things be for awhile to test the waters and see how it all pans out with the new purchase rules and housing auto-demolition.
