Good Morning SigSauer,

For a crash like this, you can also try disabling the Direct X 11 mode. On the Final Fantasy XIV launcher, select 'Config' and turn Direct X 11 off. If this still does not let you play, you can try to reinstall the game. Make sure to delete any remaining Final Fantasy XIV files from your computer, including any potential files in your ‘Documents’ folder. Then reinstall the game from scratch. If you need a digital version of this, it can be found here: http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/playersdownload/na/. Any updates or expansions will be downloaded to your computer once logged into the appropriate account.

It is important to now that the game predates the launch of Windows 10 and thus it was never intended for that platform. We strive to update the game to improve compatibility with Windows 10, however, because of the ever-changing nature of the new platform, we cannot resolve all issue immediately.

If any of these suggestions resolve your problem, please let us know so we can further assist others with similar issues.
