Yes I got shut down by the first few pages of a single thread in regards to my overall experience on the forums regarding parsers. Again, I've said my part for the nth time on these forums and feel free to disagree.

There is no “agree to disagree”. Anyone who has actually read the parser discussions on here knows that a lot of people comment about wanting one because they want to know how to self-improve, and the self-improvement argument is one of the largest arguments people make FOR parsers. Please read the threads in full instead of only reading what you want to read next time you want to contribute to a topic. It will help further your own arguments that way.

Please understand promoting parsers for self improvement purposes is not the same thing as asking for them for those reasons. These people have already agreed that they might be able to improve with them. Our experiences probably vary.

As already pointed out, this is not a question of personal "experiences" or feelings. You claimed:

While anyone can surely open any parser discussion thread, and I can bet within 10 random pages you will find conversation about promoting parsers as a tool for self improvement (unless the thread has derailed or that particular part of the thread would somehow happen to be discussing a very specific issue). You made a claim and its truth is not difficult to check.

(Also, I don't know what you meant with "not going to bother with me", but this is in no way personal from my side, I have no idea who you are and no opinion of you as a person, I'm only replying to what you write and I suggest you do the same. Or not, if you don't want to. )
