People talking about instanced housing is easy to implement, runescape managed it years ago with there construction skill all they did was put a portal in a town and all you did was type in the players name whose house you wanted to go to, how in gods name in 2017 SE can’t manage that is beyond me

Runescape is a different game, what it was programmed for has no bearing on what this game can or can't do. This game was not built for instances housing which means everything about it needs to be created from scratch and that's a lot of work. It's not as simple as you want to believe it is.

Not really. Apartments and house interiors are already instances that only get instantiated when you enter them. While it will take some coding SE just needs to expand the interior instance to include the exterior and change the way the house/plot is entered. Again something they have already solved with apartments and should be usable as a model for houses.

A nice gesture, but not sure how that makes this couple the owner though. Without relinquishing the plot first and putting as much content (both exterior and interior) into your inventory before doing so. Your name is still on this house as the owner. Otherwise relinquishing the property will demolish your house and all contents will be lost.

I have never argued that profit is allowed but the whole reselling of a plot is and will remain the same until they change the system in 4.2 (if that even will happen).

This is my point when I say you can't resell any part of it for any gil. You can give your house to someone.You can't sell the rights to demolish your house to a possible buyer, to take their gil, then let them buy the plot outright from the placard, while you line your pockets for a few million gil This GM doesn't make sense. He contradicts himself. You can't resell the actual house on the property. The game is not designed currently for you to do so. You first need to relinquish it, turn it back into a empty plot and then walk away to turn over ownership and not after you exploit the person into paying you to so. Thank you for this nice image so I could save it and question it to support and point out what ToS actually states about exploiting a system of the game for profit.

It's not exploiting if they agree to a price. The GM made perfect sense. You can sell, but not for profit. You're acting like what you say is definitive in the game world, when actually, this GM has a lot more say than you, so you saying he doesn't make sense.....doesn't make any sense. You're acting like the game is out to get you, it's comical. " line your pockets with millions of gil " , " not after you exploit a the person into paying you " , " exploiting a system of the game " ; wow..... you do realize these deals are always mutual and people know what they are spending and don't care right?

Profit is any thing above the houses value. Each house has a plaque that says its value..so (at max price) any thing above these numbers is a profit S-4mil M-20mil L-50mil cause houses never go up in value they are locked in at the max price. So someone selling for above those needs banned. you dont get to set the value of the house so these 500mil sellers need permabanned

Just cause someone pays 50 mil to someone for a large then 50 mil to uy it off the board dosent make the house worth 100 mil. you clearly paid 50 mil for the house from the plaque meaning the plot its self is worth 50 mil still ..so sellig for more then 50 mil is making profit.

Edit: just to be clear ive never sold a plot heck i give them away or buy them for people lol..i personaly think flippers need ban, the fact people rush to buy plots just to resell is so stupid

You clearly are quite confused on the definition of profit.

If its bought for x amount, and sold for for more than x, its profit.

Profit :the excess of returns over expenditure in a transaction or series of transactions.

You can't include the price that goes into the pocket of a player for releasing it as part of it otherwise every time it changes hands the price would go up and people could still claim its 'not a profit.'
