The same thing can be said for the Feast and it's rewards, but at least everyone can try the Feast, and it lasts beyond a short window of time. This cuts out 90% of the players from the start. Most people will only interact with it if they choose to watch someone's stream. Thats not a particularly good trend in content design for this game, especially since Stormblood is ridiculously content-light.

But that does tend to be how it goes. Only the best will claim victory in content like this.
