How's Ultimate?

What happened to the actual point of this thread? I've just read through page after page discussing the merits or lack thereof of creating content of this nature, but very little on the question posed in the original post. So how is ultimate?

It's really fun. It brings me back to prog raiding in midas-long burn of months-long progression, rather than clearing o1s-o3s week one and o4s week 4. Twintania feels like the hardest faust ever, and nael is just mean. Can't wait for bahamut to flatten my face.

It's a total waste of resources. There aren't even that many people streaming it, and people are mostly just talking about it because the game right now has no real content for anyone to do that isn't the same as they have been doing since HW. Already the talking is dying down a bit as people are getting tired of streams that involve wiping to three minute phase mechanics, and soon the non world-firsters probably are going to give up for sanity's sake.

It's not puggable at all,which is a lot of what made creator and omega have any long term play value, and there's no gear upgrades to make it more farmable, so there's going to be a lot less incentive to keep doing it over time. It's not something people are going to grow into doing, or be reused later on for any content even unsynced.

This will end up worse than 1v1 pvp for long term usefulness.

Basing the success of "Ultimate" content from not even a week of being live is a bit of a leap in assumptions to make. If you honestly want to know the success of Ultimate you should be looking at it a month from now, not 5 days later.

Thats not the point , if i have 1000 people at a party and I only have coke, but yet 10 people want pepsi Im not gona go out of my way to go get them peps they can leave if they dont wont coke product.

Thats what ultimate is those ten people that wont pepsi and they pretend like they are an overwhelming majority in reality they arent. But yet the devs accommodated them anyway, oh well doesnt mean that this will not die just as quickly as any other raid when level cap goes up. So anything they bring out from here on out that isnt ultimate needs to be just as good as ultimate is for these small majority of people thats pretty much like taking a microscope and looking for atoms they are so small.

FFXIV isn't "your" party.

FFXIV is a party hosted by SE and you simply buy a ticket in order to continuously attend it.

Your example would be like you walking in and they have 90 cans of pepsi which is your favourite drink and like 10 cans of coke for those who like coke and then you go complain that the 10 coke cans are there for people who like coke lol

If you are going to complain and rage that there is 10 coke cans when there is 90 cans of pepsi for you to have instead then simply stop buying the ticket to the party.

Nope I honestly dont even know what it is at all dont waste time in the gold saucer for mini games. So that would be in incorrect assessment, I dont even know what lords of verminion is aside from what people discuss about it

And that pretty much sums up everything you've said so far. You keep clinging to the same argument despite all the counter-arguments made against it, and it still has no feasible proof of being fact. Why are you still going on about it here? I, too, am beginning to smell a troll...
