2. Even if I don't you can still be an omnicrafter. Just because someone is missing a few specialist recipes does not mean they don't use and craft things from all the crafter jobs.

The point to point out, you manage space fine, because you have NINE RETAINERS and 420 extra spots, not 3. You can't say you only use 3 retainers when you got 9.

Or maybe you do not craft a lot and trying to sound like you craft more then you do? Because if you do "everything" in the game, there is no way you craft more then me, lol.....

I play a lot and 80% or so of my time is spent crafting and selling things. When you can't buy exactly what you need because how MB works, it takes space....

Note, I never claimed to be an omicrafter, I said I craft a lot, you do not need to be an omicrafter to craft a lot and make lots of money in this game (even though I was technically one during 4.0 to 4.x???? for the first time, though 4.1 took that away)

Speaking of, we shouldn't have 7 different types of glam prisms anymore. With them being GC seals now, they should be crafted same as dyes, no reason for the bloat in having 7 different types.

And... you do know that you can change your specialisation, right? So technically you can be a omni on 1 character.

that was changed in 4.0, yes, that is why I said technically I am an omicrafter now. More reason I find the spec system pointless, since there is no limit now. Why do they even have it again?

Still can't do that with desyth, need 3 chrs, or was it 4 for that? never really got into it.

What? You could always change your Specialization. People just never did it because it required a lot of red scrips to purchase a new soul gem and you had to consume one of your old ones in the process of changing specializations so it wasn't worth the effort.

People didn't do it because of the time gate, you needed 480 and you where only allowed to 450 a week. You could not omicraft without 3 characters before SB, though it MIGHT of been possible do it with 2 having a rotation but I did not know anyone that did that. Most did 2 and skip Cul and armor or did 3 chrs to have everything. I do know someone that would craft a ton of things on one craft, then change, but even then he was hurt with the time gate and couldn't keep up a rotation and keep up with all the specs.

To be fair, I actually agree with a lot of the issues you have brought up in this thread and in others, but the threads always seem to find a way to turn into the back-and-forth that has filled the last several pages here. Using speculation, assumptions and absolutes does absolutely nothing to further a conversation and only provides an easy target for others to tear down vs. focusing on the actual issue at hand. It's a good way to get people to brush off your comments as "mad frothing ramblings".

Anyway, I do want to ask the group opposed to additional inventory space/retainers - why? Why should we not push for additional space? I am curious as to why some people are so adamantly against adding more. Inventory bloat is a real thing in this game.

In *my* perfect world, SE would add a currency tab that includes all types of currencies (EX totems, 8-man raid items, etc), a material bank, tackle box, glamour log (I know a log of sorts is in the making), maybe even make a dye tab. I'm doubtful most of these items will ever come to be, and in that case, we will all manage as we currently are. However, it doesn't hurt to ask and push for certain features you would like to see implemented.

Oh I actually agree with the op insofar as I'd not be opposed to more free inventory or a glamour log, it's just like watching someone try to debate while freebasing meth.
