So we use initial prep and go for 8 w/ reflect or should we use reflect to have those three stacks count immediately? Or not use them at all?

Aim for 472CP base, capped, minimum stats on crafts and control are fine, so just meld according to that, which bearing in mind that speciality gives 20/20 boost, and if you plan on making the new stuff then just meld craftsmanship to minimum, CP to cap (472), and Control as high as you possibly can.
MaMa = Maker's Mark; MuMu = Muscle Memory; GS = Great Strides; Ing2 = Ingenuity II; BB = Byregot's Blessing.
For rotations, all I will be willing to say at this point is Heavensward rotations on steroids.

You're right. I'm getting the hang of it. I still can't get HQ if the majority of the items aren't HQ to being with, but I've made 4 pieces (and the subsequent fibers) HQ right now -- all with at least 89% chance for HQ (most with 100% -- this comes mostly down to RNG luck: procs, what failed, and if I was able to start the quality part with 70/70 Dura and all my CP.)
I do think I've figured this out on one issue: This is totally the developers answer to macros. I dub these The Macro Killer (because are you going to make a macro that has 65 FTs in it? and getting to 11 stacks isn't the end goal so much now. xD) This is like the crafting team read the 'WTF SE?! We're already at 2 star crafting and people made a macro that works most every time on the first day! This sucks!'

My stats are 1327 craftmanship, 472 cp and 1221 control without food atm. For food I used Seafood Stew. Would this be enough to craft the new gear in hq?
Do you mean a specific heavensward rotation cause I have no idea what you mean. I never played heavensward, sry for the dumb question
Is there something I should know about specialist? I dont rly know how they work cause I never used them.


RyDarrick, look up something called Rath’s Rotation. That is what they are talking about using, though the current recipe has a whole lot more Flawless Synthesis in it than the original Rath’s Rotation did.
Basically, use it as a guideline, not a hard and fast recipe for success.

Done some quick calcs in Excel. If you start the rotation off with MaMa (Makers Mark) and go triple PBP (Piece by Piece) you should get a ton of left over FS's (Flawless Synthesis) to fish for red balls, run 3 CZ's (Comfort Zone) and have a M2 (Manipulation 2) in order to restore mostly all your CP, have 70 starting Durability and have all but a handful of progress already made. Sure it ain't fast but gives you a real fighting chance of HQ every time.
Now to optimize the quality stage....
