That really depends. The old system was kinda fair since everybody only had to sub to get it. How they played the game was of no concern. Now people have to do achievements to get them and I am not sure if that is great for those that dont care about it or simply have a different playstyle. Also lets be honest, imo most of the achievements are just boring grinds. So someone that would have gotten the reward by simply subbing to the game might now have to play parts of the game they dislike if they want the rewards. (This depends on the amount of points needed)

Us veterans having more points is good for us (depending on what they will even do with the system) but is again bad for newer players. They will need to buy these achievements if they want it, which means that they will need even more points to get newer stuff. So the old system was imo fairer. Also you still need to sub since the costumes are still behind the veteran rewards and you need a subscription to play this game and earn points. So imo all that this changed, was to force people into doing achievements that they might not even like at all and still sub to get the costumes.

I would have simply halved the rewards (thus everything would have be gotten earlier) and left them all with the veteran rewards and introduce something new for the achievement points.
