It's funny when you look back and think that one small question resulted in such a massive change.

Think about how long Yoshi left us in the dark and devised this plan, and all the things they are currently not sharing with us. This is why I have faith in the SE team. We know a lot about what's going on, but not everything.

People who complain of boredom but are too lazy to go out and do something they haven't done are as much a plague as people who do nothing.

maybe they find those things to be an over rated ps3 trophy system, no one does trophies outside of little kids that have to wait for mommy to buy them a new game to play and it gives them stuff to do in the game. why fight a easy lowbie nm if the drops aren't needed or if gear is better crafted, or cause everyone is pl'ing rather then real exp grinds.

reaching zones that have nothing to do in them ? lol wtf for i would rather be playing red light green light outside then that.

for factions and battle leves i think they reseted the ones u did already in the past year from when they added the achievements? so achievement = redo everything you already did? no thanks i don't need them no more.

i can turn a can and a stick into a game , or a wheel and stick into one too but ...no thanks? lol

as for price i'm pretty sure it won't be full price, also i am pretty sure even if first months manage to hold people cause they add jobs and people might want to see them ...most will slowly wither away and just keep an eye out. they for sure are preying on a specific type of gamer. guess they realize some people still pay for aol chat so why not ffxiv.

It's 12.99 that how much it cost when you go to the square einix account ffxi cost 12.95 ffxiv cost 12.99 which i think it be the cost of the game when it goes p2p i don't see why it would cost anymore.

NM drops are useless? Not to people like that guy who has only one class at 50. you can use the NM drops from 29 - 50. That's a ton of gear (head, body, pants, feet, weapon) you don't have to buy and can reuse on multiple classes.

Achievements are part of the game and basically tell you all the things you "can" do. Exploration is exciting to some people, you know that red light green light (wtf) example you gave.

Also, once the Achievement system is in place... you will get rewards from doing certain achievements... derp.

If the games population really does take a huge dive after they impliment subs..maybe they will see that and do something about it I agree the game is not ready for subs..not at all. I will still play though lol.
