I tried to prevent that kind of reply with my line "You can go through the list of content and say that none of it interests you personally, but saying the devs are doing less work every year is a false claim." Was only trying to make a point that there is a lot of content. Good or bad is subjective and they will never please everybody. It's easy to run down the whole list and say bad, bad, bad, bad. You called the new content invalid but... anything would be with your criteria. You said the new pvp mode doesn't count as new because it can be categorised as pvp and we've had pvp before. I mean, yeah, and it's an mmorpg so things will involve battling and characters and such, they aren't going to suddenly flip it into something completely different like a flight simulator.

You know how much win trading and botting is making pvp happen? Do you know how many different forums are out there right now with issues of people win trading and cheating, and yet since BEFORE the feast, the pvp content has had that same consistent issue that squeenix hasn't addressed? Know how fast that's going to die out? If you give content, and aren't bothering to listening to the feedback of the community, you're just feeding the flame, and not helping to cast out the fire.

I won't defend that part. Hands down, cheating is the thing I hate the most about the game. People botting, position hacking, win trading and nothing being done to stop it can definitely ruin all the fun, undermine all the work that was done. So personally I think the dev team do a good job overall with content creation, but the moderating / policing side is lacking badly.

Oh god, I didn't know how bad botting was in Frontlines until a month ago. I queued with friend later at night when we got put into a 24 man as Flames. We were the only 2 people not botting on our team. There were about 3/8 people on Maelstrom who were legit playing. The whole Adders team was botting in the middle. Crazy.

It's incredibly sad and very discouraging that PVP isn't enjoyable anymore. Even the top 100 for the Feast are having issues due to the problems with the win trading and dropping. It's been said multiple times about the issue, and yet squeenix does nothing. This has been a problem before the release of the feast, and now it's even more noticeable than it was before. It's been deterring people from wanting to enjoy PVP or do it much.

Ye but sticking to a game that you clearly don't like anymore and just complaining on the forum while dissing any content that you don't like as useless it's not makiing you any good

As someone who has played from 1.0 and being a loyal FFXIV player at it's worst of history to ARR at its best, and someone who does the content in this game, I WANT to find things to do to STAY and subbed. I love the people I've met in this game. I love the game as a whole. I actually care about the quality of this game enough that I give my money to Squeenix every fricken month, even if it's not a time I play or enjoy playing. If I didn't care, I wouldn't be here. Eureka will be the turning point for many folks. Maybe just me, but if Eureka isn't something new and innovating that makes me want to stay, I'll cancel my sub that day, and you'll get your wish, as many others will.
