This is a ridiculously lackluster patch, and I'm not going to sit here and pretend I enjoy playing 4 month old dungeons.
And I'd hate to be that guy. But Yoshi wants you take a break and play other games. He wants casual and midcore with variation of skill between the two.

If you are looking for this game to be the game you spend hours upon hours in and not much else. No patch will quench that thirst if the content is cherry picked by only what we like. There is a broad range of existing content, we either like it or we don't.
