    Not gonna read all of this to see, but does someone point out the RDM won't pull hate if they aoe like they're supposed to?

    3 mobs = scatter hardcast into aero/thunder dualcast
    4+ = scatter spam
    either way spend mana on enhanced moulinet is also better than single target combo on 3+ mobs.

    role list in order of importance:
    Swiftcast
    Lucid Dreaming
    Mana Shift
    Diversion
    Apocastatis or Erase, neither are that great for dungeons but at least do something

    Please make any arguments for addle/break/drain/surecast being better than any of those (again, in dungeons) so we can have a good laugh.

    What I said about addle was not commented on but it depends how the game works (I do not know) in some games if you lower INT on the target, like what addle says here, you do more damage to it. FFXI worked like that even

    Firstly, USE DIVERSION FOR GOD'S SAKE.

    Second, I take Diversion/LD/Manashift/apoca or addle/swiftcast. Depends what I'm doing, and I don't raid on RDM, I raid on tank.

    Speaking of, no tank should be pulling in dps stance without a (good) NIN. Though I try to spend as little time in tank stance as possible, that amounts to one (1) enmity combo in tank stance then switch. If a dps is pulling off you after that, they either need to slot their role skills or are hideously outgearing you, and it's usually the former because just like tanks are "obsessed" with dps, dps are "obsessed" with having the biggest aggro bar possible because it apparently equates to dps epeen size.

    If rdms are single targetting on trash, they're bad, tell them to get good (unless it's a priority enemy in which case you should be focussing it anyway)

    Forgive me for this honest confusion, but for RDM, why swiftcast?

    Literally every other spell is a swift cast and if you swiftcast, you don't get dualcast. The only thing I can think of is to get Verraise out slightly faster, and I still don't see why for that.

    And I guess before the, "Nothing else to put there" situation, Addle is useful if the boss has any magic damage.

    Let's say you start off with say jolt > thunder. Then you swift > aero, then continue your rotation. Use it on cooldown.

    Assuming I'm in content where the damage matters, I'd have a pre-casted verthunder already, with a fire ready for it when I need to go back to it. If Veraero right after gave stone, it'd feel kind of a waste there. And strangely enough any RDM's I see ever run it only use it on vercure or verraise.

    I guess maybe after that it can be useful. The flow just feels really off with that though. Then again pugs hate Verraise apparently so what I do I got?

    Edit: Looked it up a bit. Guess it is a boost. Jeez I can't wait to get yelled at for pulling off of tanks and the Verraising in place of healers.

    There is a reason he said it the way he did, you do not pull with it, you time a hardcast thunder/aero to trigger duo and cast the opposing one even if you get a proc, you keep rotatating like this till RNG dies out then you swiftcast one of them. The idea is to have swiftcast there to skip a jolt.

    Their example was of Jolt then Verthunder. All I said was I can pre-cast verthunder and even agreed later on it can be useful now that I look at it... But thanks for repeated what I already agreed to.
