It seems like every day somebody makes a post demanding something be nerfed because they want near-instant gratification.

4.1 is just around the corner and Primal mount's drop rates will be buffed.
It is a good time for purposely farm the mount.
Right now just do EX for weapons and accessories to keep yourself SANE.
Mounts ain't going anywhere, you'll get them eventually.
Be patient.
Oh and for tokens exchange,I believe its not gonna available for us untill 2nd drop rate buffed which is the end of the year.

The core of the content is casual friendly. And that's a good thing. But there's also a segment of midcore and hardcore players. Bear in mind the content the midcore/hardcore are given is optional. Extreme primals are considered midcore (or at least used to be, I think they still are). So, with that being said, the content they're gated behind is already considered in the niche part of the game not for casual players. Not everything needs to be casual friendly, and Yoshi P's statements don't go against this. You can indeed play the bulk off the game casually friendly. Here's the thing, there needs to be some midcore/hardcore content, or else it'll further hurt the game. There needs to be something to strive for.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
Would love to have a token system for the Ala Mhigo mount, after 100 runs and still no mount.
I honestly dislike adding tokens to buy everything, some things are meant to be vanity and not beign given to everyone (in a broader sense, I'm against raid tokens too but it's a long topic and not as black and white as I would think honestly).
This thread upsets me: instant gratification is ruining games all over the board. Having to work to achieve things is now a bad thing whereas it used to be something that made you proud.
Compare this game to FFXI: several years later and rather than take a year to get the best weapon in the game spending 6-12 hours a week in Dynamis all you need to do is clear 4 tiers for 8 weeks (or get lucky and get a drop) to get the latest and greatest weapon. Need your artefact gear? Venture through dangerous areas and if you die and have no healer you'll have to run all the way back to find a key and a coffer. Now? Oh you're level 60: here's a full set of artefact gear.
MMO's are moving the way of life: everyone expects everything when they want it and if it's too hard it need to be changed.
Some of us still like a challenge and a time sink and don't want our hands holding. Let us have something before it all gets taken away.
You've gotta admit though that anyone that has aquired 99 Ex Primal tomes and still haven't gotten their mount (through either getting constantly outlotted or just not having it drop at all) has definitely put in the work. I have been there with the Zurvan bird..
Yes, I did that fight more than 99 times and never saw or was outlotted on the damn thing until it was avaliable to purchase for the 100+ tomes I had.
At that point, it's no longer considered a hand-out in my book. My firebird is testament to my insanity, lol.
No offense but I came empty handed after 4 years of farming kael'thas on wow for the phoenix mount, the fact alone you can do zurvan or any other till you are insane makes things much more accessible which defeats the purpose of bragging of having something rare.
True that having a mount that requires having all the others before acquiring it might be a good enough reason for the token system, but I don't agree with it, Rare items should be Rare it's healty to the game more than ppl give credit for
If a carrot is too far away then a good amount of people wouldn't even bother to reach out in the first place. I think the current balance for primal mounts are fine with the tokens and double buff system. Perhaps it's also because I farm rare stuff because I like it (or just for collection and/or simply something to grind) and not just to brag, but of course that's just my opinion and there will be people thinking otherwise, in both directions. No offense but I came empty handed after 4 years of farming kael'thas on wow for the phoenix mount, the fact alone you can do zurvan or any other till you are insane makes things much more accessible which defeats the purpose of bragging of having something rare.
