    I think ill suggest this in my LS. I dont craft much myself but others do. Im on another server but your idea is just as viable for the other servers.

    my house is in rebuilding stage. this house is very small and in unpopular area.
    the roof, floors, plumbing, and gas are all broke.
    my landlord fired the original crew. for not completing the job on time
    the new crew comes in and makes all kinds of promises, and shows me pics.
    now for next year i have to wait for them to finish the job.
    should I move to a more popular, bigger house rent it for same price?
    or stay in the part of my house that is not being rebuilt. but still pay same rent as others.

    The economy is booming and full of opportunities to make profit. Consumables of all kind are filling the retainers ever since 1.19 and it's only going to get better. Only alchemy and cooking are in a bad condition still but that's because they aren't going to get fixed before 1.20.

    "What is there to fix?" would be my question here.

    How would an AH 'fix' anything? It wouldn't, there's your answer. The economy is player driven, prices are set at what the player base is willing to pay. If people weren't buying it at those prices, then prices would come down. Whether it's a market ward with search or an auction house, you can't 'fix' player greed by changing the system.
