That is an awful lot of assumptions and reliance on third party anecdotes.
Otherwise it's a good thing we'll never have an official parser I guess. Can we have failstates removed next so those pesky "1 mistake = kick" groups gone?

Lol so your logic is "if it doesn't happen in this game then it doesn't happen!" Oh my sweet summer child, how I envy your optimism. I didn't think damage meters were such a bad thing myself at first. It took years for me to fully realise they do more harm than good.
And I'm done with this thread. These pro-parser peeps can keep arguing for it until the cows come home, it's not coming to FF. The mere hint of a discussion about it causes so much drama. It would be hundred-fold if SE approved in-game parsing. I think SE would prefer to work on content most players can easily agree is desirable. Such as more dungeons, raids and story quests.

If this information is written directly on the PF description, then it's easy to not join. So I guess one solution could be to allow parsers only for premade, and clearly stating that the duty will be launched with the in-game parser.
Or add this option to the list of Raid Finder parameters...which still wouldn't prevent from parsing with third party-tools...
Problem is, it's always a "small subset of individuals" that can create huge problems and can kill a community.
