My only problem with jumping is that 99% of jumps will be done out of boredom.

its in the notes on the main site, itd take you minute to find it but it is there. jump is being designed with the new zones in mind.
also, your not gonna be playing any other MMO if that really does kill your immersion as every other MMO in existance has free will jump. it really is something youll just kinda have to get used to.

Quite right, I am not playing any other MMO that has jumping for that reason. Currently playing FFXI and EvE.
