Gauss barrel never ever was a dps loss.

Keeping it on everytime was. You can't say it was a dps loss when you just had to put it, use all your CD like Gauss round/Ricochet and deactivate it.

1) Yes it was
2) You couldn't put it on when you wanted to use gauss round and ricochet because the friggin thing had a 3 second cast timer.
3) You could ignore Gauss Round and pull more DPS due to auto attacks.
