I think something similar to Mudras would be cool as different steps for the dancer. Drain Sambas, Healing Waltz, Divine Dance, etc. It could work similar to RDM too even where it could be a pseudo melee healer

I'm not to fond of a melee healer. Although those reasons are more of my own personal preference towards being able to see at least most of the raid group and not just the raid boss' ass. Plus when it does that aoe fart (an aoe centered around the boss) and other things that usually only melee have to worry about it becomes more tedious than anything. If dancer becomes a healer, i'm hopeful that it will be another ranged healer like how I mentioned that is a focus around HoTs for healing and combos for ranged damage.
I would think Dancer as a healer would focus around constant sustained AoE HoTs, low power instant AoE heals, and buff auras. Thematically, both it and Bard should combo well together for buffing entire parties.I'm not to fond of a melee healer. Not something that would main heal, but would help keep everyone topped off and improve the output of the raid as a whole. Would not even be stepping on WHM or AST toes much.

I feel like I'm the only one who wants a DPS Dancer. I've healed in ARR and HW now I'm a Bard and would like to see NIN get some competition for melee support. NIN can be the one that hits more (what MCH SHOULD BE) and DNC could be the more support type one (what BRD is supposed to be). Quarterstaff, scimitar, whip, or something for a weapon.
I think it is more that SB brought in two DPS jobs so have been speculating ideas for healers and tanks that could be brought in. I can just as easily see dancer being a support melee dps as much as I can see it being a healer. (one of the reasons why I think jobs should have role variants. ie. monk tank, dark knight dps, etc)I feel like I'm the only one who wants a DPS Dancer. That's right. But we honestly don't know if there will be 2 tanks added, 2 healers, 1 tank 1 healer, or even 1 DPS and either 1 tank or healer.I think it is more that SB brought in two DPS jobs so have been speculating ideas for healers and tanks that could be brought in. As for Dancer weapons, Daggers would have been perfect if they gave Ninjas Katana, and Samurai Great Katana. So since no dagger, I think tonfas or warfans could work.
I am going to be the most flamboyantly straight dancer the faerie server has ever seen eva!
I want a tank job that command pet to tank much like summomer but more in depth
When I was playing allod online years ago I would play warden and use the pet as a tank for dungeons and it has so much aggro and hp we don't need a tank
So pet tanking has come to my mind that it might work in context but not the way how theasy summoner do it
