Someone really hating on FFV music? :c


FFXIV isn't meant to be taken seriously, it's a game where a character shot himself up in the air to destroy dalamund (or however you spell it) a game where in the Japanese versions bosses shout their finishing moves like anime characters, the chocobo tales chocobo is cute and a nice throwback to an obscure game. You don't have to like it but FF has never really been srsbuziness

So a questionably canon comic relief side quest and what i'm pretty sure is just a very common trope for japanese media.

The game doesn't have to be 100% serious all the time but you can't blame people for not respecting this story
