I agree with the overreacting. I am enjoying warrior alot more since the pruning. I already used three gamepad hotbars for warrior. I'm happy to stay at that with the added 70 abilities.

I tanked as War over the weekend. I am still enjoying the shit out of it. And now I can punch people in the face.

Actually, I should be a greater jackass than you since I played on PS3 and PC for ARR and PS4 and PC for HW (I'm glad my wife brought her own PC to play in the end ).

Thats been a major point of contention with tanks. "Stormblood changes all tanks in this way! Except PLD, who gains a lot and loses nothing while keeping things others lost."

Yeah, sure, now we need to cross-role all of the native skills we gave to you back in the days...and lost a complete cross-class entirely.

Using Dark Arts on it. To obtain 520 potency, you need to DA Bloodspiller whereas Scourge was a free 500 potency provided it ticked for the full 30s. Thus, Bloodspiller costs mana to slightly pull ahead of Scourge.

The option to wear right side STR is back for now. Even if the dps increase isn't that big compared to 3.0.

Remember accessories are now also job/class locked. Other than Materia, there may not be much choice on what you can accessorize with either.

Tanks are currently going with the old 270 accessories. We will see how long that lasts, but I don't see the offstats on VIT accessories outscaling them anytime soon.

Scourge did 500 over 30 seconds. Bloodspiller does 380 on one GCD, and you can use it far more than every 30s. Besides, if Grit is activated, basic Bloodspiller is better than Scourge.
Besides, you still can't compare skills one by one. With the increased potency of SoulEater and the damage increase on DarkSide, your average potency/GCD is higher than in HW. Even without considering how faster you can refill your MP to use Dark Arts more often than before.

As a DRK, I have exactly one less button to press at 70 than 60. And my personal choice is to skip Awareness...sure, huuuuge deal.

What you totally ignore is how choosing your role skills is much more important than chossing the past cross-class skills, depending on the content you want to clear.

So, yeah, maybe you just overreact...

How the hell do you figure that? Hell you have to use two just to get back some of the stuff warrior lost... I MUCH prefered the cross class. Let's not even get started on caster classes losing their ability to emergency heal. Simply put the game was dumbed down... again. The whole point is moot though. I already unsubbed/uninstalled. Currently playing on a vanilla WoW private server. Yes, Elysium. Sad really. It's 2017 and a pirate server of 2005 WoW offer more player interaction/challenge than the best people can manage these days.

FF14 was 10,000 people standing around in queues not interacting. To do content that was both iLvL locked an filled with endless exposition. The leveling process was 95% running from point A to point B and clicking an NPC.

Take Vanilla WoW questing as an example. You might have a quest that asks you to kill 14 of this, 14 of that. That's 28 mobs that can actually hurt you that are often grouped. Might take you half an hour to 45 minutes to finish it. While in that same area you might have 5 or 6 more quests within a short walk. You end up returning to quest hubs every couple hours. FF14 travel for 10 minutes to kill 3 guys you can 4 shot. Travel back. Get next quest. Travel 5 minutes to talk to one guy. Get next quest. Travel again, talk to another guy. Get quest ect...

Last straw for me was removing Bloodbath honestly. That's why I rolled warrior to begin with. Was basically the only Job that held any interest for me in FF14.

Maybe if I gave a crap about the lore.. I'd like the game. But I don't. I always prefered Dragon Quest, Breath of Fire, and Suikoden to Final Fantasy. Every FF past 6 was too long winded. Give me a simple "save the princess", "slay the dragon", or "win the war" type plot any day. Hell if I wanted something with a GOOD story I'd replay any of the Tales games.
