PC elitist comments aren't going to contribute to this conversation. There's no need for snarky "tablet processor" comments. Your mentioning that you are having some troubles even on a high-end computer, however, is relevant.
It's a subjective statement. Some might take that to mean a city with maybe 20-30 players around. Others may take that to mean to the extent that Hunts were back in its prime, with 100+ people spamming the most (hardware) resource demanding abilities they can. I'd wager they were implying the former at most. In other words, you'd begin dipping the moment an additional variable enters. Have you noticed an improvement or just smooth frames in simpler situations (i.e. an area with ~15-20 people)?
It has nothing to do with PC elitism and everything to do with how computer hardware works. I happen to also own a PS4 Pro, and I do not expect things it cannot do to happen.
Funny how you ignored the fact that you haven't been told you were getting it. You've been told that you SHOULD be getting it. Conditional is not a promise.
It was in a live letter two months ago, and no promises or absolute statements were made. IE: the OP is falsely accusing Yoshida of lying when he did not.
Today I learned Live Letters are not to be taken as reality.
You were told "a lot of players", that is in relation to normal traffic. Early access launch of an expansion is not normal traffic, and no-one in the world is getting what you are expecting from the patch (PC and PS4 alike), wait a week or two and you will see those improvements that you want.
There's an option in the system config about water reflection, could try turning it off and it might improve a bit.
No. Maybe you should have learned what conditional means, and the difference between "should" and "will" as you seem to be continuing to ignore that simple fact after you have already been told twice. I'm not sure whether it's just due to issues with understanding plain English, or simply selective reading due to the fact that it collapses your card castle.
