Soul eater was already bad in how effective it was at healing us before.
But honestly, we hardly ever used it, as we only did it with DA.

So how many combos do we go through, before we ever use it, and get healed by it?
(Too lazy to do the math, but my guess would be around or less than 30% of the time, so it could more accurately equate a 30% heal per combo, or less. Where as now its a 10% heal per combo, or less, depending on threat combos)

Again, the other factor is how they made all DA GCDs give +140 potency with DA.
Which would be rather pointless, if Soul Eater healed for more, as it not only adds +140 potency, it also heals for that extra potency.
(Its still the better option, even if it heals 1 more HP in the end.)

I'm not saying I agree with their decision, I'm just saying why.
DRK is actually one of the most well designed tanks atm, but its nearly the worst when compared to what the other tanks are capable of right now.
(And that they took away some of our fun toys from 3.x)
