Thank god. Bye!
Thank god. Bye!
Are you intentionally disregarding obvious hyperbole to attempt to come out on top or are you dense? Seriously, it's oozing how blatant it is.The only expectations I have from another healer is to help me keep the party alive and that's it. If the person is just healing, they are still doing something. Afking would literally be a SCH just sitting there and letting the AI do all the healing. I think your idea of "doesn't do anything" is a bit..flawed. Because if they truly were not doing anything, they wouldn't even be healing.
This is my main issues with healers that don't DPS. I've found that the typical healer that stands around waiting for HP to drop does precious little else in a dungeon. Got a debuff? They won't remove it. Stacking mechanic? Ignored. Their focus is usually not in the fight, it's on YouTube, or Facebook, or on another game. Like others have said, why should we give people a pass? Why do they get to half ass their way through a dungeon and get the same tome rewards as the other 3 who had to be active for the whole dungeon?
If there are periods where you don't have to heal and you can freely deal damage and you're just sitting there picking your nose as a healer then you're not really helping. You don't have to go ham and do 2k dps to help, just help the group kill the boss faster.
This does not put the same effort as the other 2 roles, You ask more from your DPS then tank/healer, why?I just never understand why this kind of thread will...you know
queuing in a DF, 3 complete strangers, I don't really care how they play as long as they do their role
Tank hold aggro, use CD as needed as the basic, dishing out more DPS and stance dance, i consider a bonus
Healer keeping everyone alive, remove debuff, if they CS and help DPS while keeping everyone alive, a bonus
DPS using proper rotation, not just 1,1,1, i consider it as a bonus when they using utility for other party member
as for requiring more than the basic, we always have Party Finder and premade party so player can set their own rules
but DF?when i queue DF, a tank/healer/dps do more than it basic, of cause i welcome it, but as long as they are doing their job, i am fine with it
It is like dungeon have their minimum iL requirement, over gear are obviously welcome, but meeting the basic is fine for me too
Also here is a link for everyone to solve this pure healer vs DPS healer once in for all:

I hate to drag old threads into this, but it's kinda funny how you bring up obnoxious trolling when you told everyone that Regen is a spell only to be used by tanks who ask for it because they'll have trouble battling you for threat with it up and you not DPS'ing still.
Girl.
But what if all I wanna do is clear the content and I'm on a dps class? So long as we clear it in a reasonable time frame I don't care what people do. Good is subjective anyway.
Tanks first job is to keep aggro right? As you said about healers just healing, they do something right? Now, lets pretend the tank did his job (just like the healer you speak of) doesn't pop CD, since he already did his part, but he dies. Why did he die?
Lack of healing? No CD use? Obviously if he had full HP and died to a buster or adds drownded him with a lot of damage, he dies because of it. What does this mean? Less contribution for the group, you just said it yourself. As long the healer keeps people alive, it's fine for a tank to ignore his toolkit and just keep aggro, since it's his first job. If you demand him to use CD, he should demand you do some good use of yourself as well
This is what the person said earlier:
My reply:
They still havent replied to me so...Many times you said this and I will reply with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBgM...youtu.be&t=565
What myth? If you ignore this post like you did to every thread, you are just a troll, so please stop.
