Do AST really need this Buff?

I hoped for balance for more then a year as i said. Why can't you, uh ?
AST always been great in good players hands even in 3.0, we litterally had to wait 3.2 to be decent compared WHM and 3.4 to compete with SCH.

Lol. AST should never be decent enough to replace a WHM. Or compete to replace a SCH. Your way of thinking about this is stupid. A hybrid job should never be as good as WHM/SCH. They have their Card System. That should be well enough to make them unique and being played about. Not treading on WHM/SCH jobs. Which SE thinks AST should replace both healer jobs. Considering how much buffs AST is getting.

AST is not a hybrid in the traditional sense because the support role as a whole does not actually exist in this game, only tank/dps/healer. Would you be okay with saying BRD and MCH should do terrible damage because they have support skills? For a while that was the case and it got changed to where those classes were actually able to do competitive DPS because it was a hindrance to parties. AST got buffed to the point it currently is at so that SE felt it could compete, as a healer, against the other healers, for a healing spot, because it is a healer. The buff we got for SB IS too much, but this "hybrid roles shouldn't be -blank-" thinking is way outdated in MMOs. This game is not built as tank/dps/healer/support.

I agree we shouldn't be better than WHM, but AST still needs to be able to heal the damage, and SE felt that at first AST couldn't do that on an equal level.

I find it hilarious that tanks and dps are totally fine with the future while healers are begging for other healers to be nerfed, based on changes they've never even played.

I guess you havent read all the complains about Smn nerfs than (especially Silverquick ones mimimi wuuuaaah...). I main smn & whm on raid-lvl. Although i personally dont think that smn got nerfed (just more shifted to burst & utility) - WHM got slapped with their toolkit and Lily system pretty hard but with those overdone Ast adjusments it even feels DBL slapped right in the face... for Sch idk loosing power in dps but gaining this 400+ (?) regentick is hard for me to judge - never the less noc shield is a joke, like their raw healing pot too... if you give Ast those powerful pots - Sch & Whm should get their Card buffs as well höhö .___.

They just messed up all 3 healers with SB.
