While I enjoy the story of FFXIV very much, the main thing I love about this game is my WHM. My friends from the game I could keep in touch with through Discord or whatever, since many often take breaks from the game and that's how we all stay in touch really anyway. I wouldn't really lose much by quitting imo with how things look for WHM currently. As I stated, I'm now trying to finish my AST relic before early release so I can level that up instead of WHM. I really don't enjoy the class, mostly because I find fishing for Balance annoying, but I can play it for a while instead as a stop gap. At this point in time SE basically has however many days are left on my sub to change my mind, and show me something worth staying for, because what they've shown us so far isn't worth it imo.
