Thank you. I hope others who feel the same way will still have time to do the same if they wish. That's one reason I posted about this here - for awareness. Others on the boards have suggested (in error) that it is no longer possible to cancel (may depend on retailer). Cancelling the pre-order means not getting special pre-order items. But I'd rather have my money in my bank account and see how things go.

Not sure why I'd spend ¥4,000 on an expansion likely to degrade my experience of the game, to play a job that I don't want to play. There are other things I can do with my time.

Remember AST was bad in 3.0, I still played it despite it had lower heals than the other ones , because I loved it, and I love WHM as much. I dont blame you really, i feel let down too. And honestly if when those patch notes go up and i dont see improvement i might not bother with SB until its fixed.

That's what I'd like to see - a fix (although it sounds like that won't be trivial given the extent of the changes). Until now I've enjoyed the game a great deal and it's a shame to see something good, that people care about, get screwed up. So I hope the developers will pay attention to what many people are saying here and elsewhere. If they do something to address the concerns I'll have another look at it.

I wrote a post about Cleric Stance last night when I first saw the changes, because it was immediately obvious that something has gone wrong with the thinking around the Cleric Stance change specifically, and possibly other changes to WHM.

Since then I've looked into the changes in more detail and found more that are unappealing, considered my options, and decided to cancel my pre-order for the Stormblood expansion and hold onto my money (and my time) for now.
